Even though Page 4 is my favorite looks-wise, this is my favorite page story-wise. I won’t go into why. Not because it has any spoilers, but because, for some reason, I feel arrogant being like, “Oh this scene is amazing because Jin blah blah blah.” I like the lighting though.

I am so happy no one had problems with this page. Yet. Jenny, James, Michelle, and I had to sit there and talk about this conversation over and over again until it wasn’t confusing. I had to redo it at least 6 times, changing dialogue to being more clear and precise. Someone even read it outloud to make sure it sounded nice. Luckily, I think it works well enough now. The pictures help a lot.

I’ll repeat this information a couple more times. I really like making stories easy to understand. Even the doubt that someone may not understand this page makes me feel uncomfortable.

Another page that I think turned out night. I really like how Orphan turned out. Before I had a really hard time drawing him, but thankfully I got him down before I drew this issue.

That front desk Ue is a woman. The blue makes her seem like a guy I guess. Not that color should represent gender. I guess it doesn’t really matter anyway since they’re mostly robot. They’re heads are organic, and their bodies are manufactured to help them fit into the newly civilized world.
